Robot toys that was released in the late 1970′s
They resemble C3PO and R2D2, but they were’nt. The C3PO lookalike was about 10 inches high, it had a silver body like C3PO, but the head was a green alien. The R2D2 (if I remember correctly) was black and I think it had robot arms. I don’t remember what they were called other then maybe Galaxy Wars.
They were not the Micronuts action figures.
I do remember that at the time I saw them on the toy store shelf they also had the first Alien action figure that was also about 10 inches high from the movie Alien.
I know I saw them cause I bugged my parents for a while to buy it for me, but they never did.
I’ve gone to book stores to find it in the toy collectables books, but its not listed. then again I dont remember what the toys were called. I have gone online and I’ll find other toys in the era but not these.
They were clearly Star Wars Knockoffs, and that may be the reason they dont exist at all.
Does anyone know what they were called, remembers them, or were I could find them?

Collecting American Artistic Glassware
Executive Summary about collectible plates by Eddie Lamb
Beautiful artistic glassware was a symbol of luxury in Europe and Asia before America was an independent country. No matter how harsh life is Americans find a way to bring beautiful items into their homes.
You could collect French artistic glassware from Provence, or Imperial Russian artistic glassware. A uniquely American collection of artistic glassware might not be as elegant, delicate, or beautiful as some other collections, but it could celebrate the American spirit. Depression Glass
Depression glass is probably the most collected American artistic glassware. Depression glass was poor-quality glassware made during the 1930′s and 1940′s. Depression glass was cheap, poor quality, easily obtainable – and beautiful. At a time when people could barely afford to keep body and soul together, they collected these beautiful pink, green, or blue pieces of artistic glassware. Milk Glass
The Fenton glass company opened in 1905, and they have created a number of patterns and designs of glassware. One of the more collectible is milk glass. Milk glass pieces are white with a hobnail texture. Some milk glass has a faint blue cast, similar to skim milk. Other manufacturers have made milk glass, but Fenton glass is the most popular.
It started to produce milk glass and other artistic glassware items in the 1950′s. Carnival Glass
Another product introduced by Fenton glass was carnival glass. They began marketing carnival glass just prior to WWI. Carnival glass continues to be produced today.
Anchor Hocking, Pyrex, and Fostoria glassware are all American collectibles. Collecting American artistic glassware is one way to celebrate the American spirit.

Model Hobbies
Executive Summary about model hobbies by Peter Jaystore
Model hobbies are things that children or adults can do which can be educational and have a lasting impact. One model that I had when I was younger was the skeleton of a dinosaur. I also had model cars and model airplanes. The model cars and planes were not self assembled though, we purchased them already completed. After building my dinosaur, I played with it like a regular toy, making it viciously attack and kill the other toys. Later my dinosaur skeleton sat on the book shelf in my bedroom for many years.
A model toy or build it yourself model kit can be both and exciting toy to play with, along with giving someone a sense of accomplishment. Everyone likes to build things, and when you are done your model hobby makes you feel like you have done something constructive. There are many different types of models that you can build. I have seen model airplanes, model houses, model cars, model animals and dinosaurs, model helicopters, and model shuttles. Whatever you are interested in there is probably a model for it somewhere. Model Airplane
Is there any end to the fun you can have with a model airplane. Think of all of the things that you can do with a model airplane. First of all, if you get a model airplane kit, then you get to put it all together, and if that is not fun, then I do not know what is. If you get an airplane that is already fully assembled, well, you are missing out on a little part of the fun of building one, but at least your plane will probably look a little better and be assembled a little better than it would you build it yourself.
Once your model airplane is assembled, or if you got preassembled, the possibilities of fun with it are endless. You can fly it around the house or the office. What is fun is if you have two model airplanes and then you can make them dog-fight each other. If you have cool co-workers, on the other hand, they may want to get their own planes, and then you can fly your model airplanes around the office together and have dog fights with each other. It might remind them of their time in the military when they were flying in the very airplane that is on their desk, except the airplane in their desk is a little bit smaller. So what is the downside of having a model airplane or how can there be an end to the fun? Well first of all, because model airplanes are so much fun, somebody could steal it. That is something you have to be careful about with your model airplane. You never know if that one co-worker might just sneak into your office and slip away with it. Another thing you can do with model airplanes is burn them and throw them while they are on fire.
