The secret of an airplane’s flight is the shape of its wing’s crossection. I wish I could draw you a diagram, but just think of it a a flat bottom with an upper section sloping down from a high rounded curve to a point at the back of the wing. It creates a vacuum above the wing at high velocities and produces upward lift.
