My Dad is super in to Model airplanes. He has collected them since he was a kid. He has just about every Model airplane out there so i’m not sure what would be the best one to get him for Christmas. He likes 1/48 scale in mint condition. What’s the rarest one? the one he’s most likely not to have?

Model hobbies are things that children or adults can do which can be educational and have a lasting impact. One model that I had when I was younger was the skeleton of a dinosaur. I also had model cars and model airplanes. The model cars and planes were not self assembled though, we purchased them already completed.
