Robot toys that was released in the late 1970′s
They resemble C3PO and R2D2, but they were’nt. The C3PO lookalike was about 10 inches high, it had a silver body like C3PO, but the head was a green alien. The R2D2 (if I remember correctly) was black and I think it had robot arms. I don’t remember what they were called other then maybe Galaxy Wars.
They were not the Micronuts action figures.
I do remember that at the time I saw them on the toy store shelf they also had the first Alien action figure that was also about 10 inches high from the movie Alien.
I know I saw them cause I bugged my parents for a while to buy it for me, but they never did.
I’ve gone to book stores to find it in the toy collectables books, but its not listed. then again I dont remember what the toys were called. I have gone online and I’ll find other toys in the era but not these.
They were clearly Star Wars Knockoffs, and that may be the reason they dont exist at all.
Does anyone know what they were called, remembers them, or were I could find them?
